Ever have those days when you HAVE to get out but don’t feel like getting “dressed up”?
Enter a great pair of distressed jeans and a basic white tank.
Alone, these pieces would be totally casual, but add a great pair of heels, a statement necklace, a little color, and voila, you’ve got yourself a going out outfit. (This particular day, I was off to a baby shower.)
Let’s take a moment to talk about this jacket. I snagged it off a clearance rack at Gap when shopping with mom, and she “surprised” me with it for Christmas. Though it was a little warm for a jacket on this particular day, the texture and pattern brought this outfit to a level of sophistication above a basic tank and jean. These Jessica Simpson heels also incorporate pattern, but it’s so subtle and the color pallet is neutral enough that they don’t compete with any of the other pieces. I kept it simple when it came to the bag, opting for a classic cross body.
How do you dress up your go-to tank and jeans?
