If a dog is man’s best friend, can a great shoe be a woman’s? I say yes.
Shirts and pants can be such fair-weather friends. One day they fit, but the next day, too tight. And when you finally shed some weight, they sag or droop terribly. Unlike clothes, a shoe sticks with you through the thick and thin. Literally. And it’s no secret–I love them all! Flats, boots, booties, sandals, heels, loafers, etc. etc. I’m always on the watch for the next pair to add to my closet, and now is a great time to do so.
A change in season is a great time to invest in:
A shoe to get you through the present—Think loafers and boots that can be worn through fall, winter and the beginning of spring.
And a steal that you’ll wear in the future—Think sandals and peep-toe heels from this past spring/summer that are on clearance and can be worn once when things warm up. (Or wear with tights if you understandably just can’t wait!)
I’ve found myself leaning towards metallics, bright prints and colors, suede, velvet, classic loafers, quirky details, and mary jane styles here lately. Browse below to see what I’m currently crushing on and click to shop. (And guess what? These are all under $200!)
